Resilience
Unleashed

Jim
Lunsford.

Writer. Builder.

I write about rebuilding a life.
I build tools for owning your work.

My work spans writing, websites, WordPress, publishing systems, and practical software. I care about how things work, who controls them, and whether they hold up in everyday use.

Two places to follow the work.

JimLunsford.com

My main publishing home. Long-form writing on discipline, recovery, identity rebuilding, self-trust, and ownership, alongside software projects and the decisions behind them.

Recovery Standards and Discipline Dispatches examine how those ideas work under pressure. Builder Receipts explain what I built, what failed, what I corrected, and what the result proved.

My personal stream. Short thoughts, build notes, training, family, photos, and ordinary days. The things I want to share without turning every one of them into an article.

It runs on Bonumark Stream, the publishing software I build and use for my own site.

Tools with a reason to exist.

I work on web publishing, WordPress and CMS tools, and systems shaped by problems I understand. I use AI-assisted development, with responsibility for the requirements, product decisions, testing, corrections, and what ships.

Bonumark Stream

A self-hosted microblog CMS for posts, photos, notes, pages, and conversation on your own domain. Built around control of your content, portable archives, and a publishing workflow you can use every day.

Intertexere

An open-source internal linking assistant for WordPress, under active development. It helps editors find useful connections, inspect existing links, and insert approved suggestions while retaining editorial control.

Why owned publishing matters to me

I want my writing, media, and publishing history to have a home I control. That means a domain I own, content I can move, and software that gives me a usable way out. The same priorities guide the websites and publishing tools I build.

The work has a history.

I’ve been sober since August 2, 2015. That experience shapes my writing about discipline, standards, identity, and rebuilding self-trust. It sits alongside my work in technology, publishing, and software.
